I would be happy because I would recognize that with God one day is as a thousand years.

PM- since we are only play-likeing here I will be so bold as to answer your hypothetical question.
If GOD were ever to be in such a state as to allow me to be in charge for one day. I would do absolutly nothing except fly around the universe looking at his work.
Why? Two reasons #1 because if I were to be so bold as to change anything, I believe that would be a statement that GOD was doing it wrong, which I would never do.
#2 GOD has to take over again tomorrow. :)
I am afraid of this question.
Too many people behave like they think they are God.
I am afraid I would cry --that my Son's death was not appreciated, that my Church fights all the time and that there were still so many lost souls.

Preacherman; I would be sure and be home in 23 hrs so I would not be left on Mars or some place without my family. Hey come to think of it this may have already happened, I have some pretty good dreams/visions. Nah never happened even George Bush is smarter than that, he wouldn't even let me be president for a day.:)

You must have seen the movie "Bruce Almighty". I think I'd mess things up at least as badly as he did.

I have enough probs just being in charge of my own life, I don't think i want to consider that much responsibility

Yes, God is doing a great job.
This is a what if, scenario.
I think about all the suffering in the world and I would get rid of world hunger and starvation. Especially with children across the world.

What about war would any of you put an end to war? would any of you bring unity to the church and denominationalism? Would you make yourself known? Would you add any new commandments? Why? or why not?
What would you do if you where God for one days?
I would create life on Mars resembling human beings. I would then empower them with the technology to build a ship, come to earth on friendly terms, and place membership wherever I'll be preaching after my one day is over.
I want to thank everyone for their comments and adding to the discussion. I understand that God is perfect. It is mankind that messed it all up. I am thankful for his grace, love and mercy on pour richly on us.

i would make a universe full of mes make pain non-existent in that universe. Make another universe where they go when they die which would be like the garden of Eden. then i would split that universe in half and put a idea in everyone of the mes saying kill the other half and you go to heaven. and i would make them believe me to be there prophet and i would join the left side. when the war finally ends all of the mes go to the garden of Eden universe and live happy with no war
so there are no losers as for earth i didn't touch it or its universe.
